The Coupe and Sedan used slightly different lenses, and they also varied some in shape from one side to the other.

This was a time of hand shaped tooling, without the aid of computers, even mechanical or analog ones. Thus the individuality of parts gives them a character which computer aided design and mass produced perfection doesn't have.

The molds were made from original glass lenses which had been on Hudson cars, so the reproductions should fit. Each lens has the Right or Left, Sedan or Coupe markings exactly replicating the original glass.

If desired, the lenses can be warmed in 200 degree Fahrenheit water and the curvature adjusted, using the lamp housing or bezel as a form. When cooled they will keep the new shape and the heating will accelerate the full curing of the resin which continues for some time beyond the heat cure I give them after casting.
